Guardian I- Model G1384-B- Mechanical Residential Fire Suppression System, w/Fusible Links (for Gas Stoves), with Gas Shutoff Device

When a stove-top fire occurs, one or more of the four fusible links will separate, releasing the cable tension. The tension spring then automatically opens the extinguisher valve assembly which discharges the wet agent through the piping system to the nozzles and then to the range fire.

PLEASE NOTE: This system will require you to have your gas company make the connections, to properly connect the shut-off device.

Coverage:
Electric and Gas Ranges may not exceed a width of 36” wide x 24” deep or 864 sqi.
Hood:
Any standard residential hood with a single light and fan in the center that meets the same range size requirements. The bottom of the hood cannot exceed 30” from the range top.
Nozzles:
The nozzle tip must be at least 18” above the range with a maximum of 28”.
