Brooks' FIRE ALARM CABLES are designed for use in power-limited fire alarm installations. Available in shielded and unshielded twisted-pair Brooks' FR Series Cables are rated NEC Type FPLR while Brooks' FP Series Cables are NEC Type FPLP. Standard spool size is 1,000'.
FIRE ALARM CABLE UNSHIELDED MIDCAPACITANCE
TYPE FPLR / CMR
Construction: These cables consist of 2 or 4 conductors, solid bare copper insulated with
color- coded SR-PVC. The conductors are
twisted and cabled with a maximum 3” left hand lay. An overall red PVC 75C jacket is applied with
a ripcord beneath. These cables are
suitable for conduit or vertical installations without conduit. UL Type FPLR dual rated with either a UL CMR
or CL3R.
