Guardian Model G300-A
	The Guardian Model G300A is ideal for homes, apartments, condominiums and retirement homes utilizing a residential kitchen range. In the event of a stove top fire the Guardian III's electronic sensors will send a signal to the control unit circuit board automatically opening the extinguisher valve which discharges extinguishing agent through the discharge assembly and nozzles to the stovetop. After activation, the system continues to discharge agent in excess of 90 seconds while simultaneously shutting off the electricity or gas to the range. This long controlled discharge prevents splattering of hot cooking grease and ensures that all fire is completely extinguished and reignition will not occur. All Guardian Model G300-A systems have undergone extensive Underwriters Laboratory (U.L.) fire tests and carry both U.L. and U.L.C. listings.

Model G300-A Accessories

Manual Remote Pull Station A manual remote pull station is available where local fire codes require the capability to manually activate the range top extinguisher system. Manual activation of the system will cause the extinguisher unit to fully discharge extinguishing agent, shut off the range top burners and activate the alarm or other electrical accessory.

AC/DC 110 Volt Adaptor A connection is provided for an optional AC/DC wall adaptor for continuous AC power supply with battery backup. This wall transformer is a recognized component with a maximum input rating of 120VAC 60Hz 4.85 w 300 M.A. with an output rating of 9VDC. This adaptor does NOT provide a trickle charge to the battery or extend the battery life in any way.

The shutoff installs behind the stove and comes in three (3) configurations. 3 prong, 4 prong and Hardwire. It continuously monitors for an alarm from the main CPU.

Gas Stove Shutoff The gas valve installs behind the stove and comes with an assembly that continuously monitors for an alarm from the main CPU. The internal supervised circuitry of this assembly is powered by a 9-volt battery and will notify someone when a low battery condition exists.
