Significant changes in the 2003 edition that impact your job include: New hose placed in service must be inspected, but is no longer required to be service tested if less than one year has passed since its manufacture Care, use and testing requirements for booster hose and suction hose now appear in separate sections Added requirement that when occupant use hose is taken out of service for testing, replacement hose must be installed on the rack, reel or storage area Added requirement for inspection of the liner at each end of the hose New section on record keeping for occupant use hose New material on attaching shank type coupling (Approx. 20 pp. 2003)
