    PRINCIPLES OF OPERATION
    BEHAVIOR: At 1200° F , the caulk breaks down, giving off water which immediately flashes to steam. The steam absorbs heat, cooling the area while starving the fire of oxygen. Microscopic 'cenospheres' contained in the mixture swell when exposed to high heat, releasing inert nitrogen and carbon dioxide gases which further starve the fire of oxygen.
    RATINGS
    APPROVALS: Tested to ASTM Standard E-814/ UL Standard 1479 which requires caulk to be exposed to impinging flame with temperatures rising to 1925° F during a 3-hour period.
    TEMPERATURE: STORAGE: Store from 40° F - 90° F - PROTECT FROM FREEZING.
    INSTALLATION: Install from 40° F - 90° F - PROTECT FROM FREEZING.
