The Photoeletric sensor samples the air every 5 seconds and triggers an alarm if prescribed levels of smoke appears.

Green LED "power on" indicator.
12-unit multiple station interconnect, with originating alarm indicator.
Test button electronically simulates the smoke condition, causing the unit to alarm.
